Hollywood is filled with anything but glee this weekend as celebrities and fans alike learn of the tragic and sudden death of Cory Monteith on Saturday at age 31.
The "Glee" star was found dead in his hotel room at Vancouver's Fairmont Pacific Rim. Officials report that
no foul play was involved and that the autopsy is scheduled for Monday. While we wait anxiously for more information about this shocking loss, Monteith's co-stars, friends, and fans have taken to Twitter to share their grief.
Notably absent from those who have posted, however, is Monteith's longtime love, Lea Michele. The pair have not been seen together since the actress posted a photo of her, Monteith, and Jonathan Groff on Twitter on June 18 with the caption, "Me and my two favorite boys." While they were both at a photo shoot for the new season of "Glee" at the end of June, that shoot was bookended by Lea on a pair of vacations with her girlfriends, working on her a solo album in New York City, and spending what appeared to be less time with her man.
Her reps have asked that "everyone kindly respect Lea's privacy during this devastating time." And stars have been reaching out to her online to offer their sympathies.
