First of all, just to be perfectly honest, open and clear, even the cheap store bought honey that you get at the grocery store is 100 times healthier for you that white sugar, which truly should have a skull and cross bones posted on the package, along with a warning much the same as you find on cigarette packs!
So ANY honey is far, far healthier than consuming sugar, however, as logic would dictate, the more pristine and premium the quality of the honey, the more natural and organic the honey is, the less it has been messed about with man made chemicals, processing treatments, heat or mass produced “tools and chemicals” of the trade, quite obviously, the healthier and more deliciously delightful the honey is.
Honey is “Nature’s Energy Booster” as it is an excellent, all natural source of energy packed carbohydrates which provide strength and energy to our bodies. Honey has been relied upon for centuries for its effective, instant energy boosting, performance and endurance enhancing properties, quickly reducing muscle fatigue, physical dehydration and cramping in athletes.
Besides being a great organic source of vitamin and minerals, the glucose in honey is absorbed by the body quickly and gives an immediate energy boost, while the fructose is absorbed more slowly providing sustained energy. It is known that honey has also been found to keep levels of blood sugar fairly constant compared to other types of sugars or artificial sweeteners.
Premium quality honey as several, natural and powerful, antimicrobial, antibacterial and antifungal properties and it can actually be effectively used as a natural antiseptic and in the healing / treating of wounds, burns, bruises, cuts, scrapes, rashes and sensitivities / pain.
Honey has several Antioxidant properties, particularly “nutraceuticals,” which are highly effective in removing dangerous and destructive “free radicals” from our body, increasing our immunity to fight off numerous diseases.Skin, hair and internal organ care and repair are yet another highly positive effect of honey ingestions, as well as using it as a slave or even a wash or rinse, when combined with milk. Yep, that’s right; the whole heavenly land of milk and honey has an actual, physical basis behind it and is not merely poetic or metaphysical. What also makes honey’s healing properties so popular and deeply appreciated is the fact that it can be ingested so very easily and enjoyably! You can eat honey directly, or mix it into a drink, place it on top of food like bread, use it as a sweetener or cook it into your meals.
Enjoy,
