The Miss World beauty pageant is to shelve what some people (less evolved than us obviously) might have considered the only reason for its existence.Yep according to reports the organisers will dispense with the
pageant’s bikini round this year out of respect for their Indonesian hosts.
Miss World Organisation statement:
I don't want to upset or get anyone in a situation where we are being disrespectful Miss World Organisation chairwoman Julia Morley said.Which is fair enough. But to see whether you think the bikini (sorry beachwear) round is integral to the spirit of Miss World - or whether the show will be devalued by its absence - here’s a gallery of the best Miss World bikinis from previous years.
